New on freeCodeCamp... Question, please help

Hello, I’m new and I started a course called “Certified Full Stack Developer Curriculum.” (https://www.freecodecamp.org/espanol/learn/full-stack-developer/) I’m only on the second lesson so far, but while reviewing the upcoming lessons, I noticed some say “coming soon.” My question is, when I finish these courses, will I receive the certificates with a QR code and link that are mentioned, or when do they provide these certificates?

hank you in advance to everyone who takes the time to help me. I really appreciate it! Thanks!

Hi @JorgeAparicioAguilar !

Welcome to the forum!

So there will only be one certification. Not many. When you finish the HTML chapter, then you will move to the CSS chapter, then the JavaScript chapter, etc. There won’t be certificates at the end of each of those chapters.

To claim the certificate, you will need to complete the capstone project and final exam. The capstone project is a full stack project you complete on your own in and deploy it somewhere. Then it will be reviewed and then you can take the final exam. Once you pass both of those items then you can claim the certification.

The team is currently working on releasing the remaining content as well as exams throughout the year.

But the content that is already there will take most beginners several months to get through. By the time you complete what is already there, then some of the other modules will open and you can continue with your journey there.

Thank you so much for the information. I’ve been working at a company for 8 years using Java and HTML, and I feel that these courses are helping me a lot to understand more about what I already know. What worried me, or still worries me, is that as I complete the course, the “coming soon” lessons might take a long time, and I might not be able to get a certificate. But the most important thing is the knowledge they’re sharing. I will continue completing the courses. Thanks!
