Newbie question -> code download

When I am watching a video lecture, is the code being shown in the video available to me as a download? Or should I just be typing it in myself?

Most of the time the code is available in some form somewhere (usually github), check the comments or description of the video.

However, you should be following along with the video and writing the code yourself. You wont learn as much if you watch a video, get the finalized code and your done, as at that point you haven’t really done much beyond watching someone build something, when you should be the one learning how to build it.

Too true. And thanks for your quick response.
