The completion mark doesn’t show on the freecodecamp page.

I refreshed everything but it still doesn’t show the completion mark.
I pressed continue several times on the Complete Tutorial but nothing changes.

So today it worked, dunno how or why but it solved by it self.
I couldn’t refresh the VM yesterday because I didn’t know how, but today it reconnected me through all the steps and it worked.
Of course I’m moving forward Thank you.

PS: if you could walk me through refreshing/ restarting the VM, for my knowledge, it would be soooo nice

Still no check mark? Recycle the VM

Your user token is used to save your progress. As a security measure, we delete them when you sign out of freeCodeCamp. A new token is created again when you open up one of the projects, but existing VM’s still have the old token until it shuts itself down. Open up a different project to shut down your running VM. Then go open the old project back up; the container should now have your new token. If you finished the project, it should take you right to the screen in the image above. Press that continue button to submit the project again. If this is the issue, it should now be saved and show up the next time you refresh your freeCodeCamp page.

Usually if you close the CodeAlly screen and open it again it works. Other times if you wait for like a day the problem solves itself! Don’t know exactly why, but it worked for me quite a few times.
