Me as Student, am I forced to post my project’s code on codepen? Is it possible to host the project’s html page on google site or on any webhost and submit the URL.

From the FAQ:
Do I have to use CodePen for the front end projects?
As long as your code is publicly viewable, and you have a live demo, you can use whatever you want.
You can for example use GitHub pages or surge.sh as alternatives to CodePen.
