I passed the Python Certification exam and all certification project tests pass, but I am unable to download my certificate.
When downloading it says “It looks like you have not completed the necessary steps. Please complete the required projects to claim the Python Certification.”
Could you please resolve this issue?

There was a bug in the script awarding the challenges. I will run a script today to correct this.
You should be able to claim the certification now.

Hi, i have completed my python certification exam but i see the python certification radio not checked and i am see pending on the attempt , i also see this after completing the exam ‘Taken too recently. You may retake this exam after 2/27/2026, 11:37:18 AM.‘ Is this normal ?
That seems perfectly normal, the exam is pending, that means you need to wait to receive the score on that, it will be at most 7 days. After you receive the score, if you have passed, you should be able to get the certification (make sure you have agreed to the academic honestly pledge https://www.freecodecamp.org/settings#honesty)

whenever you see Retake Required the exam was considered invalid, and was not graded
are you doing something else while doing the exam maybe? the exam app collect some infos while you do the exam and those are carefully checked
What can i do to avoid such mistakes.

are you doing other stuff while doing the exam? using other programs?
