Question is bugged

This morning I got to question 32 for the cat thing, but I got stuck… So, I used the ultimate weapon chat GPT to tell me the answer, but it still didn’t work. At this point I was frustrated because I spent like 30 minutes on one question. I then proceeded to try a bunch of times and resetting the question because I never managed to complete it. When I got back, the question was gone. Disappeared. Ofc, I tried refreshing and going back to question 31 and do it again, but it didn’t work. Neither did signing out of my account did anything. I’m really confused rn. Pretty sure it’s a bug.

TL; DR: The question disappeared, and I can’t progress.

Welcome to fCC Forum @cixepv !

I suggest restarting the computer, and then accessing the course.

Clear the cookies and data in the settings for the browser.

Try a different browser.

Make sure all extension, and dark mode (if active) have been disabled.

You mentioned you have reset the step several times, so, I never suggested that here. But, that is another option to clear all failed code, and start fresh.

None of these steps will affect any previously completed steps.

I hope you are able to move on in your coding journey.

Keep up the good progress!

  • If you get stuck on a question, try refreshing the page or signing out of your account and signing back in. This can sometimes fix the problem.
  • If you are still stuck, try skipping the question and coming back to it later.
  • If you are unable to complete a question, report the bug to the developers.

Thanks a lot, apparently after clearing my browser cache, cookies and stuff it worked back as normal. However, do you have any ideas to why this could happen? (I’m using MS Edge)

Now that it’s back to normal, I wrote the answer at question 32 and it let me pass. The reason I was stuck there is because I couldn’t find the answer.

was exactly what I wrote before and it didn’t work. I double checked multiple times too. Maybe it’s just Microsoft Edge that’s trash.

If you have a question about a specific challenge as it relates to your written code for that challenge and need some help, click the Ask for Help button located on the challenge (it looks like a question mark). This button only appears if you have tried to submit an answer at least three times.

The Ask for Help button will create a new topic with all code you have written and include a link to the challenge also. You will still be able to ask any questions in the post before submitting it to the forum.

Thank you.
