Question on CSS lesson: Applied Visual Design: Adjust the Color of Various Elements to Complementary Colors

Hi, I have a question about Applied Visual Design: Adjust the Color of Various Elements to Complementary Colors.
Complementary color of teal ( #09A7A1 ) is #a72e09. why we should use orange instead?

Heck if I know. I’m horrible with choosing colors. Luckily someone here pointed me towards this site : https://coolors.co/ It helps me pick colors that go well. It’s not the answer you were looking for, but I hope it helps you in the future.

The challenge is using the RYB color space (still not sure why). If you use https://paletton.com and put in the teal color and then switch on the complementary you can see it will match with the orange color from the challenge.

We had a thread where we talked about this.
