I ran out of credits on my gitpod account, do i have to pay or is there another way to get around it, for example can i create a new gitpod account and finish the challenges this way, will this not affect my FCC curriculum ?

Yes, your progress will not be saved to your freeCodeCamp account, if you complete a project on your local machine.
