Responsive project 1 FEEDBACK PLEASE

first project completed (I think it is anyway). Feedback would be appreciated.

Welcome back @Mato-Sapa. Your page looks good. Some things to revisit;

  • Keep the test script when forking the pen (<script src="https://cdn.freecodecamp.org/testable-projects-fcc/v1/bundle.js"></script>).
    • The test script should be included, with all tests passing, when you submit your projects.
    • Your page passes 7/10 user stories. Click the red button to see which test(s) are failing and text to help you correct the issue.
  • Codepen provides the boilerplate for you. It only expects the code you’d put within the body element in HTML. (No need to include the body tags). For anything you want to add to the <head> element click on the ‘Settings’ button, then HTML and add it into the ‘Stuff for <head>’ box.
    • As an aside, this <!HTML5> is not valid HTML. This <!DOCTYPE html> says that what follows is an HTML5 document.
  • Run your HTML code through the W3C validator.
    • There are HTML coding errors you should be aware of and address.
    • Since copy/paste from codepen you can ignore the first warning and first two errors.
  • In the CSS section, this {STYLE} is not valid syntax.
    • In codepen you just put your CSS code in the CSS section. The only time you’d use the style tag is if you had internal CSS in your HTML document.
  • Your page needs to be responsive.

It’s nice that you started each tribute item with a bold date. Since that offsets one from the other maybe think about getting rid of the bullet points.
Good that you have a nice, accessible tribute link. This is being nit-picky but get rid of the word “here”. It is still accessible and informative without the redundant word.

thanks for the feedback! I was hoping no one would hold back. I’ll work on all of this.
