Responsive Web Design Personal Portfolio

Hello,

I have gotten to the create a personal portfolio project on RWD, but since I don’t have any of my own projects completed yet, does this mean I can’t do this project yet? Is the idea to create projects first and then complete this, since I can’t link it to any projects? Or can it be passed without linking to real projects, would anyone know?

thank you…

You can absolutely do this step by step, althought it helps if you have a similar project going aready. On this project you dont need to link anything it can all be done inside the code editor. A HTML boiler plate might be a good start here. Good luck

thank you. So I don’t need a completed project to link to to complete this then?

No, the editor should keep everything just don`t reset.

Hello @coderostro !

I linked to my completed projects in RWD, using the links provided in Settings under the Certifications. I opened the project view and just copied the blank link at the top. When clicked in the project it says it would take a person to the project.

Just another option.

Happy coding and keep up the good progress!

Thanks, that’s a good suggestion, I might do that too. Did you put much work into the styling of the other RWD projects? As in treating the portfolio project professionally, like something you would actually refer people to?

Perfect, thanks very much. Very helpful indeed.

Just one other thing, would you know if the ‘project-tile’ element should be of a specific type and how to put in the project tile itself, as oppose to the link? Sorry if obvious q!

Also, I am not sure how to link my FCC profile? When I go to profile, it shows an “address” after an “@”, but I don’t think it’s a "link’?

Sorry for all the qs(!)

Your most likely to put this in a div element as regards to the project-tile question, remember you can also list multiple values in one class if that is the case. If you need to check out where email is listed go to summary, preferences then account to check the status of your email.
