Survey Form - Build a Survey Form

I tried cloning the freecodecamp survey form as a part of the certification challenge. The page looked fine when i looked the preview in the freecodecamp website itself but when i copied the html and css on my computer (in two separate files) and tried to run it using the live server extension in my VS CODE studio, the page looked weirdly bloated. The page elements look enlarged even if i adjust the dimensions to be smaller or even equal to the original survey form of freecodecamp. I use Chrome browse. Please Help.

If a font-size has not been set on any of the <p> ancestors, then 1em will equal the default browser font-size , which is usually 16px.

You have set the font-size for the ‘p’ element to the value of “15px”. Try the following to see the effect of changing label’s font-size:

label {
  margin: 2rem auto;
  font-size: 12px;

The image changes too.

Considering your question about editing the post, you should click on the pencil icon in your editor to change the code.

It worked!!! The sizes went back to exact same sizes as they were in the original preview when I set the font size to 15px for the body. I also tried to set the label font size to 12px and that worked too. However, the background image still remains larger. Can you please explained what happened here???

can you please tell me how i can set the background image same as its original size in the original survey page?

Turns out there was a problem with live server preview itself. Whenever i opened a page using live server, the page opened with 200% zoom. Thats why the page looked so big in size. Simply zooming out to 100% fixed the problem instantly.
