As the title states I am completely at a loss of even where to even begin with this. Am I supposed to use the content from the sample page (ie the text itself) and just build my own example of that page or do I need to come up with completely different technical documentation about something else and if so on what? I don’t even know enough about anything to come up with my own technical documentation. I am not talking about the design of the site but the wording. If that makes sense.
you shouldn’t, like you shouldn’t copy the page layout
you can make a technical page about the html and css you have learned so far! it can be a complete review
I looked up some documentation about a different programming language and I just copied that. (You can add a link to the source material to give the original page credit)
I feel like that would be a book not a page. I guess I just don’t really know how to dumb that down into a simple page.
okay yeah, maybe that’s a good idea. I think I understand
Hello and welcome to the forum @storyboutagirl !
I found the Technical Documentation Page to be the most difficult of all of the projects. But, when it was explained to me that we could do it on anything we are passionate about, I did mine (a few times now on different topics) on one of my passions, the first time.
You will do great!
Wishing you good progress on your coding journey!
Thanks! I actually did it and passed and while I like my design I am not happy with content. I didn’t know that doing it again was a possibility though. How would I do it over?
Just do it any way you want and resubmit it
Happy to hear you passed it. Great going!
We can always update any of the projects, or start the lessons completely over (which I have done several times). I believe the option to reset is under the settings.
But, I suggest you copy all of your current code (both html and css) and paste it onto a Word, or Notepad to save on your computer, so if you want to revisit it, you still have it.
Then, you can delete the content and redo it with whatever you choose to put in there, as long as it meets the requires in the instructions.
I usually set up the document (html) step by step, then add the desired content.
Keep up the good progress!
