Tribute Project Offsetting Columns and Centering

Tribute Project Offsetting Columns and Centering

I am laying out my project for the Tribute page. Figured out how to use the column offsetting, but it seems that #timeline does not want to center in md view (sm and larger the md views seems to have the div centered). I added a 1px CSS border just to make it more clear how everything is lining up.

Any clues as to where I am going wrong?

i’ve noticed that you’re using 2 different versions of bootstrap.css, you may think that the latter overwrites the former but the style overlaps, they have different breakpoints and class names. please choose one.
https://cdnjs.cloudflare.com/ajax/libs/twitter-bootstrap/3.3.7/css/bootstrap.min.css
https://cdnjs.cloudflare.com/ajax/libs/twitter-bootstrap/4.0.0-beta/css/bootstrap.min.css

here’s the docs on when the breakpoints happen and how to use offset of your chosen version

responsive breakpoints
bootstrap 3.3: http://getbootstrap.com/docs/3.3/css/#grid-media-queries
bootstrap 4.0: https://getbootstrap.com/docs/4.0/layout/overview/#responsive-breakpoints

offsetting
bootstrap 3.3: https://getbootstrap.com/docs/3.3/css/#grid-offsetting
bootstrap 4.0: https://getbootstrap.com/docs/4.0/layout/grid/#offsetting-columns

goodluck (:

Awesome. It seems some of the things I learned in the previous lesson regarding bootstrap are no longer applicable to 4. When I took version 4 out, it seemed to solve the issue, but will still look into the links provided for the future.

Thanks!
