Hey, if you add your client-id (from Twitch) in the header of your request, everything works fine.

Just got to this thread. I was really bothered that my twitch app wasnāt working anymore. Iām also just about to finish my tic-tac-toe appā¦ totally agree with the algorithmsā¦ I must have rewritten or revised my computer brain/AI numerous times. I thought I was done last weekend when I accidentally found a loophole to beat the computerā¦ just a couple of styling and animations left and Iām done. I guess I wonāt be adding too much flair to the app anymore if itās just gonna be a bonus nowā¦will just stick with the basic functionsā¦
Just a questionā¦ so if the twitch app will be a bonusā¦ I guess I donāt have to go back and try to make it work again (it already worked before when I originally submitted it)? I was concerned when it stopped working actually if it would keep me from getting a certificate? So I should just leave the app as is for now? I have only tic-tac-toe (only css left to do) and then the simon gameā¦ but I wonder if I should just wait for the new projects? Thanks again.
@QuincyLarson would be the right person to answer this question, but I can assure you that updating the twitch app to use API key wonāt take long - it is basically one line of code.
@jenovs Oh oki thanks!.. Iāll just book mark this thread so I can get back to it before submitting my last project and getting the certificate. Will finish the the last 2 projects first. Twitch might end up adding something againā¦
Hi, Iām currently re coding my twitch apiā¦ it also stopper workingā¦ I canāt seem to get a client-id? when I scroll to the settings options and register apps for develepers under āothersā nothing shows up? only the recommended apps like blizzard and facebook? how did you get to the client-id? or am I missing a step? Iām following the instructions on this pageā¦

If you go here https://www.twitch.tv/settings/connections and scroll down to the bottom. It should have a button with something like āRegister your applicationā. Maybe you can try another browser?
Hi, thatās where I first wentā¦ didnāt see any options to register any app. Says I dināt have any to registerā¦ but at the chat rooms I found help and a link hereā¦ for anyone who might have faced similar problems finding a register linkā¦
