Using AI as google because of it's speed

Hello,
I was wondering if it’s possible to use ai when doing some of the freecodecamp project in a way such that I purposely prompt it not code anything but rather guide and give me a hint, would this considered cheating

If you need hints, talk to people, they are much more reliable. Here on teh forum, or the discord server.

Yes. I would use humans or a search engine instead of asking a LLM for possibly inaccurate information. It can be very difficult to detect when an LLM was fabricated information when you’re learning.

I guess AI can only help us in a certain limit. But, I cant totally depend on AI based information. I prefer to use some platforms or website that cover the related content, and where those issues are already being discussed. Like for some Search Engine based ranking I prefer to choose some of the tech websites, that help me a lot. Further, I prefer to choose some forum based discussions as well jsut like this freecodecamp.
