Vscode not working with node js

I updated my vscode yesterday and opened a folder within the vscode terminal, but i keep getting “bash: node: command not found” when i try the command “node -v”,please how do resolve this?

First: In the terminal, under the terminal dropdown click “select default shell”:

I use windows and i see the first option :point_up_2:

Only that one? You should see powershell or some thing.
