Weekly React online Meeting Anyone?

Hi Guys I’d like to setup a regular weekly meetup online (probably on google hangouts) with people learning REACT and node.js,

It will be like a weekly SCRUM so it starts where each person summarises;

  1. What they were working on last week
  2. What they are planning on working on next week
  3. What blockers they had this week

Once we have all done that (should be about 5-10 mins each) we can then work out what we want to spend the rest of the time talking about (probably helping with blockers etc)

If anyones interested let me know. If anyone is in Ko Lanta Thialand and interested I can meet you if you want.

I’m all for getting a community together to learn stuff, but idk if essentially signing up for a meeting is the best way to go about it.

  1. People don’t like meetings
  2. If your learning React/Nodejs, odds are you don’t know what SCRUM is
  3. Its hard enough to schedule meetings, let alone global meetings, let alone global meetings with strangers.

Going to be a tough thing to maintain, along with find people willing. Good luck though
