I’m Ugo, almost 20, from Italy.
I started programming 4 years ago at school. We started with C, and I loved it from the beginning. I started studying it on my own, and then discovered Arduino and the world of CoderDojo. After the first year of “recreational coding” a friend of mine thought us algorithms, we formed a team and won the Italian Team Olympiads in Informatics. In the last two years I could no longer compete, so I thought what I learned to other people. Last year team I trained placed 6th in Italy, this year they got 3 first places in 5 competitions.
A couple of months ago I started playing with web technologies and I’m stuck with a MEAN stack problem, mainly because of my lack of knowledge in many of the little pieces needed.
I found freecodecamp and I’m motivated to get both frontend and backend certification, because want to work in the field.
