Hello! My name is Kaitlin. I am learning to code in hopes of opening up new career opportunities, and also because I enjoy the problem-solving aspects of learning to code and I like that it allows for creativity. So far, I have been learning with free code camp and a couple of udemy courses.
Hello everyone!
Iām Manuela and I live in London. I am learning to code because it is fascinating and I would like to change my career - consulting albeit lucrative is just not for me. So this is very exciting for me
I have no previous knowledge of coding so far, so FCC will be a big, but wonderful challenge for me.
Happy Weekend!
Hey,
Iām just an average person trying to learn to code. Iām in my early 40s looking for a new challenge and Iāve been learning swift, python and following freecodecamp for the moment.
Good luck in your challenge!
Hi everyone!
Im Joaquin, from Cordoba, Argentina. Im 27 years old, turning 28 in two weeks.
Im learning to code because ive always been interested in computers and computer science, and also because its a highly demanded skill, at least where i live.
Im actually taking the Programming Technical Degree, mainly focused on object oriented programming and business / accounting software. This is (hopefully) my last year. But im also leaning towards DB administration, web and mobile development, so im taking this course and a couple more.
Hello, my name is Aaron! I am learning to code in order to make a career change into a field at the intersection of creative and analytic thinking while adding value to the end user. So far I have been learning through a handful of online resources including Udemy, Shay Howe, and Codeacademy. I look forward to diving deeper into this world
Hello freeCodeCamper. Iām Juan Antonio. Iām a writer, coach, and entrepreneur whoās been deep in all things design/UX/product management. Iām learning to code because itās been pain-stakingly difficult to get my MVP to a mobile prototype. Have had a handful of software engineers fail to deliver. The last piece of the product management puzzle I havenāt given a serious-enough try is learning to code. Iāve been learning to code by starting with Bash (I got roped into a DevOps internship), then via a couple of books for Swift & Code Academy. Someone suggested freeCodeCamp and here I am. Love the model here and Iāve been enoying the coding process much more than ever before.
Howdy!
My name is Jeff and Iām learning to code to start a career in web development. So far, Iāve been learning by Youtube, using Codeacademy, and (of course) FreeCodeCamp.
Hello World, my name is Rei, 'm learning how to code because itās fun, useful and itās some kind of passion if that makes any sense to you, I recently started HTMl, CSS, iāve learned Python 2 a few months ago.
Hi everyone,
My name is Kieran. I am a molecular biology honours graduate and Iām considering a career in bioinformatics/data science because I want to unleash the awesome power of data onto the unsuspecting public, empowering people to make better decisions in their lives through better access to humanityās secret hidden stash of data. I am also interested in full-stack web development for visualisation and accessibility of data.
So far, I have been using Codecademy and freeCodeCamp to learn syntax (HTML/CSS/Python), Coursera for bioinformatics algorithms (in Python), and Udemy for full stack Python development.
I found freeCodeCamp after watching an Engineered Truth interview with Quincy Larson. I was impressed by the website, its community, and the real-life projects that make real contributions to NFPs for a good cause.
Hope to see you all soon!
Kieran

Hi Campers,
Iām Leonard. Iām learning to code because I want to do we were all born to do: create.
Iāve been learning to code through various methods. I tried and was refunded for an online bootcamp that I didnāt learn from in exchange for FCC and other low-to-no cost online resources that have given me so much more.
I look forward to contributing here as I progress.
Cheers
Hey there Campers! Iām super psyched to be here and starting this journey. I started coding nearly 30 years ago but despite getting a CS degree, Iāve spent the last 10+ years in various business roles and havenāt been an active developer. I want to brush up on my technical skills and contribute more directly to projects Iām involved in and take a more active role in technical decisions and discussions.
Hey there ^.^
My nameās Emilie and Iām learning to code just for fun
I have learned code with Khan Academy before but since itās not specialised in coding, it only taught me the basics. I hope to learn more here in the future
I am Risa T. Iām brushing up what I already know, but donāt think I can ever learn enough. Iāve procrastinated with freeCodeCamp for too long and itās time I use it! I am a designer-developer that still likes free resources
Hi there,
My name is Milcah, and Iām currently a math student at a Junior College in Oakland, CA!
Iām learning to code because Iām interested in acquiring the skills necessary to solve higher level proofs and math problems using programming. Iām also stoked to learn how to use code to visualize data and trends. My long-term goal is data science, but weāll see how far I get.
Iāve been learning to code through on the job experience (SQL), taking classes at school (Java) and books. But Iām learning so much about front-end in freeCodeCamp so far. Iām so stoked I stumbled onto freeCodeCamp. Thanks so much for putting this community and platform up, itās so awesome and interactive!
I look forward to working with you all and learning from every one of you!
All the best,
Milcah
Hello my name is Suly,
Iā am here to enhance my knowledge in learning how to code. I went to college graduated in December of 2013 with my bachelors in Computer Information System I had a class for Web Design, and I enjoyed it. Unfortunately I did not keep practicing or continued taking courses to make me proficient in coding due to deciding on taking the class in my last semester before graduating. I steered away from technology after college, and I decided now to finally looking into learning how to code again and pursue my degree. I love this website because the way it is structured it makes it easy to understand and follow through. I am hoping to finish the course in the next couple of weeks and use what I learned with hopefully an IT company .
Hello everyone, my name is Inkeol Lee
