Hi Yoloboy,

The challenge instructions tell you to add the id attribute “to the
element at the bottom of the page”. This is the very last line of your code.

An attribute has the form: name="value". For example, class="red", where class is the name of the attribute and red is the value you want to give it.

To add an attribute to an HTML element, you put it inside the brackets of the element, after the name of the element and before the closing bracket (the > character). So for example, if you had an HTML element:
and you wanted to add an id attribute to it with a value of say, special, you would do it like this:
.

Maybe you can try to follow the same logic to add an attribute with name id and value footer to the
element in your code.

Sidenote: you should also have a look at your element near the top of your code. Your href attribute is not correct. It should have the form , without the extra quoted text to the freecatphotoapp URL.

Please let us know if you can work it out now. Enjoy!

Your anchor tag needs to be rectified, also, anchor tag href attr and footer id attr should be the same!
