World Cup Database - GitPod billing

Tell us what’s happening:

I was gone for a little while, and it seems we have migrated to GitPod for these assignments. Not only have I seemingly lost my work I had done so far (not the end of the world, I was near the end of writing my script so it’s a little annoying), but GitPod seems to think I have exceeded the maximum amount of hours I can have on their service before I have even written a line of code. I am not paying them a cent if that how they run things.
Does anyone have any advice with regards to running these assignments locally? I can’t seem to find anything on GitHub I can clone.
EDIT: found it, freeCodeCamp/learn-world-cup-database
EDIT 2: this doesn’t have the csvs, so I am stuck.

If we have to use a live environment, why not use something like livecodes?

Saves me from having my projects hijacked by some third party.

World Cup Database - Build a World Cup Database

I had , exactly, the same experience, the very same day that freeCodeCamp made the switch, I faced the issue that my progress was gone and for some reason Gitpod thought I have reached the limit for the month, even when I have not done anything yet. I opened a ticket with Gitpod, but then I realized (since my work was gone) that I could start brand new. I changed the email in my Github account and matched in freeCodeCamp.

Hi! Thanks for replying!
I now have a different problem, since I was using my old work email as a log in method. Thankfully I am still logged in on my device! Hopefully when that issue is fixed I can check if your solution solves my problem.
