Archived Coursework

So I had a look at the freecodecamp Github repository. It had a section saying if we complete some of the archived coursework (Responsive Web Design, Algorithms and Data Structures, Front End Development Libraries, Data Visualization, Back End Development and APIs, and Legacy Information Security and Quality Assurance certifications), It gives us a certificate. But is the archived Coursework still worth it in 2025, and will it help me land a job? Because I don’t really want to wait for Late 2026 until the Current full stack one is finished. Im already working on it, just Im not that patient!

the certificate themselves do not help, what help is the experience you gain and the projects you are able to build

for the Archived Coursework, I would avoid the sections on React and d3, they are quite outdated, the rest, even if it uses an older style and is not maintained anymore teaches knowledge that is still current.
The sections to avoid are Data Visualization -> Data Visualization with D3 (the other section in this certification is useful if you have never worked with APIs before), the d3 library has updated and what is thaught is for an older version; and Front End Development Libraries -> React, the React library has updated a lot since this course was developed, the section on React in the Full Stack course is the one that has current knowledge
