Best way to navigate previous lessons

Hi.

I am stuck on a lesson, but I know that I have previously done something similar in a previous lesson. The problem I am having is that there isn’t a proper index, or something similar, to refer back to old lessons. It seems like I have to redo all the lessons or manually open every single lesson in a new tab in the browser until I find the relevant lesson.

Is this working like intended?

If not, can I, very humbly, suggest creating headings for each lesson and then creating an index listing all the lessons as a visual way of quickly going back to old work. Or maybe even have a mouse hover over the lessons and then the headings of the related lesson pops up? Or even just a straight up pdf file with a list of the lessons and their descriptions can be helpful.

Sincerely,
Chris

Hello there

There is currently no easy way to find topics from specific lessons, but this is a feature we are planning on having:

What I currently do is:
a) If the lesson has a “proper” name (e.g. NOT “step 1”), then I expand all the blocks, and use the browser search for the topic - hoping the lesson title has the topic in the name
b) Open the freeCodeCamp repository in VSCode and search the curriculum for the keyword I want

Hope this helps

Thanks for the response.

Method a: Won’t work. All my lessons so far only refers to ‘step …’ .
Method b: I will try to figure out what VSCode is and try this way.
