Can't access Learn REPL

When I tried to access “Learn Node.js REPL”, I couldn’t get past this screen:

And when I moved my cursor inside the white pane, it said “github.com refused to connect”?

And when I refreshed the pane it said, “Connecting to the forwarding port…” but the pane remains the same.

When I started it, I got the same problem initially:

Clicked the preview refresh, then it worked:

Hey @Sky020,

That’s not the same screen. Mine wasn’t just a blank white screen. It shows a red circle with a diagonal line.

Any idea what would cause that? I did refresh the pane, but it had no effect.

Update:

Some online research led me to look at my host file. Does this look right to you?

Possibly a Codespace issue. What browser are you using? I wonder if that is a browser-specific graphic for an error.

That looks about what I would expect - similar to what I have.

I tried in Chrome, Edge and Firefox. Firefox didn’t show a graphic in Simple Browser, but refreshing does nothing. Too bad. I was looking forward to working through the new Node.js curriculum.
