Change backgrouns color to image

Hey!

I currently have a gradient in my blogger template

#hen{background-color: #d14411; background-image: linear-gradient(to bottom, #d14411, #d1915c); display: block; padding:100px 0px; position: relative; width: 100%;}

But I want change it to background image
I tried to use this code, but got no image displayed, only the backgroung color again:

#hen{background-color: #d14411; background-image:url("here goes the link"); display: block; padding:100px 0px; position: relative; width: 100%;}

I’ve edited your post for readability. When you enter a code block into a forum post, please precede it with a separate line of three backticks and follow it with a separate line of three backticks to make it easier to read.

See this post to find the backtick on your keyboard. The “preformatted text” tool in the editor (</>) will also add backticks around text.

Note: Backticks are not single quotes.

You need to use a background-img tag
You need to have a place into your HTML where it goes not just CSS
You need to set up a proper link and make sure it is accesible

Here’s how you learn how to link:
