Some people recommend to use our own code editor in the pc, but my question is: Then how do the platform approve the exercise since i see it guide you step by step? How does it really work?
What platform and what exercise are you talking about?
I’m using html with the default code editor that come inside freecodecamp page. If I use VScode for instance how can i submit my code to freecodecamp to know weather is it ok or not?
What challenge are you referring to?
“responsive web design”
What is the exact url of the challenge?
It’s the exercises with the cats
You can not use VS Code to submit anything for the challenges. You must type your code in the editor.
ok thanks for your time
When it comes to the actual certifications projects, you could use VS code and build out the projects there. Then you could copy and paste your code into freeCodeCamp editor and run the tests.
If you have some tests that aren’t passing, you could update your code until the tests pass and submit it.
