Code presented in scroll bars - FIX!

What is your hint or solution suggestion?

Hello.

I was very happy with the platform until recently when I noticed that all the code you present in your challenges is INLINE and one can move it only with a scroll.

This is unacceptable. It is unnatural, looks disgusting and very annoying. It is very easy to lose focus when having to read code block inline.

I do not how whose sick idea this was , so fix it asap because you lose many students!!

Thanks

They have a fix coming I read, I stopped doing my JavaScript lessons due to this. Funny thing is I was on a lesson where you needed to do js ternary with multiple conditions on separate lines. Try another course in the mean time, I started the Python while they fix.

Thanks, glad to hear that. It is almost impossible to read the presented code blocks. I am on my JS challenges and it takes me forever to complete…

Here is the post where one of the staff members says the bug has been fixed and will be deployed.

Thanks for reporting. We are shipping a fix momentarily.

I would like to draw your attention to The freeCodeCamp Code of Conduct

We are a tiny team, and bugs like this creep in from time to time.

Happy coding.
