Concerned About My Progress in Express

I’m not getting anything in this course, I’m not even sure what I’m learning is used for? What can I do to remedy this?

FCC courses are really just to get your feet wet. The only FCC chapter I didn’t follow up with a course is HTML; every chapter was followed by copious amounts of documentation, articles, and YouTube tutorials. This is new to you, it’s normal that you don’t get it with just a cursory explanation.

Regarding Express specifically, it helped me to first get a good understanding of what NodeJS is and what it does. Devote some time to understanding the technology behind NodeJS, why it is good for building web servers. One you have a grasp of that, Express should no longer be a problem, since it is an abstraction of NodeJS.
