Data Science Job Prospects?

Hello,

I am in my early thirties and recently graduated with a Master of Science degree in Microbiology and Immunology. I’d plan on earning Power BI, Tableau, and Python certifications over the next 9 months and am wondering what my prospects are of landing an entry level data science role?

I currently work as an underwriter at a mortgage company. I originally wanted to become a data analyst but it seems likely entry level jobs in that field are largely saturated.

Any honest advice is appreciated, and thank you in advance.

There is absolutely no way that we can tell you what your job prospects are, or will be in a hypothetical future. If you want the best available data on job trends in the United States, look at the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics. If you want judge your own job-readiness, then look for job postings that line up with your career goals. Hell, go ahead and apply for them and/or get in direct contact with the recruiters handling them.
