It is very hard and if you’re feeling depression because of your situation, I think you should just take a step back and not be so hard on yourself. I’ve heard about how it’s the hardest it’s ever been for devs now…but I think you should also try a different way if you really want to make this work. Are you okay with freelancing? I have tried so far and was able to build my portfolio with the very little connections I had.
