I am working toward the Full-Stack Developer certification. I previous completed a few of the v7 certifications and noticed that only some of the progress carried over to the new certification. Could you please take a look at why they haven’t migrated over?

if you see some progress has carried over, that means those challenges are present in both certifications, challenges that you have never completed will not be marked as completed without you doing them
the requirements for a certification are as usual the five certification projects, and the exam (for the latest version of the curriculum), if you are already familiar with the topics you don’t need to redo the whole curriculum
