Congrats gang I’m sure a whole lot of work has gone into this, and I’m looking forward to trying out the new content.
I’ve been working through the curriculum for a month or so now, and am about half-way through the CSS section. So far it’s been great, but I’ve noticed the occasional issue. The odd test failing that’s not described in the workshop instructions, a poorly worded quiz question here and there, that sort of thing. Is there anywhere I can report things like this so they can get fixed?
As an aside: I’ve started using random labs as sandboxes while working through the lectures, since there are no images to accompany the text yet (I assume they’re coming). It’d be helpful if there was a menu link to open a HTML/CSS sandbox to experiment with new concepts.
I see that Git isn’t taught until fairly late in the course. Perhaps if the basics were covered earlier, more learners could even submit changes like these themselves. Just a thought! I’m sure Git is where it is for a reason.
Anyway thanks again to all the contributors for this latest update We learners appreciate you!
Bugs can be reported as GitHub Issues. Same for feature requests, they can go there too. Whenever reporting a bug, please check first that there isn’t already an issue for it and provide as much detail as possible.
Thank you so much for all this. Only started the CSS chapter recently but with such temp as you have I have no doubt before I get to Python all the curriculum will be done and ready. Will make sure to thank you and contribute once such opporunity will be available. Thanks a lot!
We found that not that many people were using them, and they were a lot of work to produce / maintain. We thought the time was better spent speeding up development of the full stack curriculum.
I have enjoyed the courses I have done so far. I am actually doing some of the older lessons as well as the full stack course and taking notes . I have really learned alot from the lessons in a short amount of time. I have actually made a few portfolios using the HTML- CSS- Java- Script. I know its not alot just yet but I was pretty proud of my self because I started at the beginning and did not know anything before that. After I learn that I am trying to figure out which language I want to learn to go along with what ive learned already. Anyway Thanks for all you guys do.
Hi everyone! I just noticed that the there is a Full Stack Curriculum and the old curriculum was archived . Just a question, this new full stack curriculum still provide a certificate in the end of all accomplishment?
Thanks for all your work, I am learning a lot
