Hello! I am so so very new to this stuff and am wondering where to get started with this whole thing. Is this a good way to get familiar with the knowledge to start a career in software development? And how has this helped others in their careers with no experience? Any advice would be greatly appreciated! Thank you 
FreeCodeCamp is pretty amazing. Just go start their responsive web design certification. If you enjoy it, then keep it up.
I took the courses and it helped me make the switch from analyst to software engineer.
