Github for projects tutorial

I am noticing that most jobs require use of github for version control. I don’t have any experience using it. Can someone please direct me to the most basic tutorial (101) to start using git. A url would be appreciated!! Thanks!!!

@RomchyFCC and I have been doing small updates to a project to get in some GitHub practice. This is a fool around thing. The project itself was set up to just get some hands on GitHub experience.
