Github image needed for Portfolio project

I am currently working on the personal portfolio project for the responsive webdesign certificate and in the example project it shows that the image url source for the projects in the portfolio are from github. I already have my codepen projects in a git hub repository but I dont know how to get a preview picture of them from github to use in my portfolio like in the example portfolio used. Please help ive been trying to figure this out for 2 days now. Here is the example project I am refering to that uses the github url as its src

github doesn’t generate previews, that was a screenshot uploaded to github
