Github not showing contributions!

Just what the topic says. I’m having trouble with trying to get my contributions to show up on my github profile page. I made my FCC account using a github account I created just before. And I can’t figure out what’s wrong with my configuration!

Any help or guidance would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance!~
Randy

Your fCC account does not have anything to do with the GitHub contributions. Have you created any PRs or issues in any repo? Have you pushed any commits?

I apologize. I just made a new account with freecodecamp. When I was here before years ago, whenever I completed tasks in FCC, it would show up as contributions on my Github profile page. I’m sorry if this isn’t the case anymore.

Thanks for the feedback.

I didn’t know that, or I never noticed it.

When was this, how many years ago?

It was about 6 years ago when I last gave this a shot!

Since you don’t complete freeCodeCamp on GitHub, I’m not sure how GitHub would know about your freeCodeCamp activity? The login with GitHub for freeCodeCamp only shares that you are valid GitHub user with a specific email address.

Maybe it is the Streaks part of the UI you are thinking of, it looks a lot like the GitHub contributions map (or whatever that is called).

Here is a random issue with images in case what I mean by Streaks isn’t clear.
