Gitter Desktop not allowing me to use the Chat

Gitter Desktop won’t allow me to use the main chat room. It states that only GitHub users are allowed but my account is linked to Github.

The Gitter apps are buggy as all hell. They’re open source, so if you’re really motivated you can try to contribute to fixing it.

Could you post a screenshot of the error message and a detailed description of what you were doing at the tie the error message appeared?

I haven’t done anything else but open the Gitter app and login with Github.

Try logging out, and signing in with GitHub.
