Just an FYI. You might take a peak at w3schools.com. They have some excellent help aids when I get stuck on something. Oh and I am not suggesting that freecodecamp is bad in any way. Nah, this place is pretty top notch!! But for me it is always good to have several places for reference on hand while I am learning and working in code! Hope this helps.
You need to set the id
attribute on the footer
tag. Take a look at how it is done elsewhere.
Oh shoot. I just realized something and now I feel pretty dumb. There should also be the word footer before the word id. For instance. footer id=“footer”. Make sure that goes inside the opening tag of your footer element.
Please don’t post complete spoilers. Just try to give hints, not give full answers.
Just helping others how I learned best when I started 5 years ago! I had a couple of mentors that helped me. One made me guess stuff most of the time and I hated that. The other gave me visuals and that worked great for me. Everyone learns differently. Not meaning to spoil anything here.
P.S. If I am stepping over my bounds here, I can certainly back off, no hurt feelings(born in the 70’s…aka…thick skin). Trust trying to help! I do not proclaim to be any sort of teacher here…
What is FCC? And yes, as mentioned previously, I do learn pretty good when the answer is presented. It gives me a chance to study why it is the way it is. I like to understand the why. When I first started, I sure did not do well with hints. My brain just didn’t work that way at the time and I was learning JavaScript. Now I understand JS because of correct code that has been placed right in front of me. I had a chance to study it over and understand how everything did what it did. But again. Everyone learns differently…I certainly did. Either way I will try harder to just give hints from now on! Thanks for the tip!
Oh my goodness I must be having some blonde moments this evening. FCC?..aka free code camp! Yeeeeaaah…thanks…as I bow for laughter…lol
