Homeschool Curriculum

Hi There,

I have a sophomore in high school (homeschool) who is interested in coding. He is a beginner.

Is there a curriculum that would be suitable for highschoolers?

I think the curriculum we have would work for him. We have users starting at 13 who are going through the curriculum now. He can look at the curriculum here

The suggested approach is to start at the top and work the way down, and of course they are more than welcome to ask questions here when they get stuck

Are there time estimate on how long a particular section would take? For instance, in a school year, I would need to know how many sections he can complete.

There’s really not a set time, and it would be kind of impossible to set a estimation. I say that because everyone learns at different speeds. Some people are able to move through the curriculum faster and some need to spend more time on it because they have a harder time understanding. So, I cant really give you a time unfortunately

In addition to school work how many hours do you think he would be able to commit to this?
