I have HTML and CSS skills now from freecodecamp and i feel i can do some work.
I have an account on upwork and I have been applying for jobs but i have never been invited to any!!
My profile is 40% competent and think it’s because there is a section called {employment history}, I don’t know what to fill since i have never worked before.
Help a brother get a first job

If too many freelancers are applying for the same types of jobs, it can put a strain on the market . To preempt this, Upwork may reject your profile on the grounds that there aren’t enough opportunities for the combination of skills and work categories you chose.
Don’t feel bad buddy ! practice practice and practice with projects and ideas . Go through various websites which you might you can make it far better than the current one . contact the organization or persons managing it . Show them your skills and get a chance to create a contact .
As we all know freelancing is self employed and contract based . Just keep looking .
