Hi! My name is Phan and today is my first day in Codecamp, I really want to learn Python and I don’t know how to start a new language, I learned a little bit of Python 2 but seem it’s quite hard for me, can I have some advice from you. Thanks so much when you help me and I’ll appreciate all your advice
You should not learn Python 2. Python 2 is dead. Python 3 is the current Python.
Thanks so much, I’ll try
Hi @IamPhan Welcome to the forums!
There are many tutorials to begin with python, no problem if you do not understand at all at the first time, the motivation and sketch you could gain from these is more important.
The beginning in every language, ability or discipline is hard, constancy is the key.
As I said earlier, maybe you won’t understand a lot of things in the first time, but if you continue step by step, and make research (or just google topics) you will gradually improve.
After some time, when you feel some clear about the basics of python and about what you want to do with it. You can start formal studies like these:

Hope this helps.
Best wishes
If you want to start with Python, then you’ll need to use additional resources beyond freeCodeCamp. freeCodeCamp is built to be done in order, so it’s assumed that you have already learned the fundamentals of programming from the previous sections.
thanks a lot, I have learned a new one from u
