How to save my finished course

i have finished my first bash course in relational databse.
it says below:

Step 2: Submit your code

When you have completed the project, save all the required files into a public repository and submit the URL to it below.

Required files: universe.sql

I HAVE NO IDEA HOW TO DO ANY OF THAT.
i learned in the bash course to create a git repository by creating a repository that’s name starts with a dot.
that’s all i know.
can somebody help explain step by step how to do this? i feel like learning this part is part of the learning process… thanks.

Hi @zak

You can create a repository on GitHub.

Happy coding

So a public repository means a repository outside of gitpod.

i feel like your answer is not enoogh.

i also looked around and found a commit button, though i should click it to submit my finished course.
i clicked it and now i don’t see the folders of the project i created.

Hi @zak

You need to create an account on GitHub.

Once you have done that, you need to create a repositiory.

Save the .sql file into a repository, then submit the link to the repository after passing all the tests.

The git repository in the bash terminal is not same thing as a publicly accessible repository on GitHub.

Happy coding
