How to specifically edit two forms separately

For the personal portfolio webpage I want to make one fo the form’s length specifically longer but how do I edit the specific form where people can type their message in for contact separately in css? I tried making a class but that did not work.
Code:

You should use a textarea for the message box. You can give both width and max-width. Don’t just use width by itself unless it’s a percentage otherwise it can’t shrink down on small screen sizes.

textarea {
  resize: none;
  width: 450px;
  max-width: 50%;
}

I was able to successfully get the text area how I wanted it to be. My only desire is that I want the text to be similar to how the text inside the input form box is. I know the font type is different, I can fix that easily. In input form box the text cannot be edited and once you start typing in the email address it easily disappears. I do not know the term for that effect to say, but it is default for input form boxes it seems like. Is there any way to mimic that same effect for the font inside the text area? If so, what should I do to mimic that same effect? I tried searching and I was only able to find how to not edit the text permanently but not what I wanted as described above.

I’m sorry I don’t understand the question.

You have wrapped the image and paragraph in separate containers, I meant you should give them the same container.

<section class="about">
  <h2>About Me</h2>
  <div class="flex-wrapper">
    <img class="black-border" src="">
    <p class="about-me-text" id="about-me"></p>
  </div>
</section>
