Is HTML and CSS still necessary after ChatGPT-3?

Is it necessary to learn HTML and CSS after using ChatGPT-3, an advanced language model that can generate human-like text responses?

Have you tried it yourself using chatGPT to build from scratch a layout you desired?

Yes.

ChatGPT-3 and similar services have no impact on HTML and CSS.

But what about the ChatGPT-4, which is 500 Times More powerful than the current ChatGPT will be Released next week. I thought that the developer’s Job is in danger with the passage of time.

ChatGPT-4 will also not change the fact that websites are built with HTML and CSS and JavaScript. Neither will ChatGPT-5, etc. The website that you use to interact with ChatGPT was… built with HTML and CSS and JavaScript.

New tools have the potential to change the way we work. Some languages do die out over time. There is no direct relationship between this particular tool and any predicted death of web markup languages.

There is a lot of concern around this part, but your job as a developer is a lot more than just pounding out code all day.

There are a lot of meetings and discussion about how to best approach the business problems and what could be possible solutions. There are also a lot of discussions back and forth with the clients and what their end goals are.

Throughout this whole spec and design phase, you will still need the human element for that. Once the project has been broken down into tickets, then developers can use ChaptGPT to help them with their work.
