I attempted the JavaScript Certification exam on 12/02/2026 at 11:34:47. After completing the exam, the assessment status showed as “In Progress” for about a week. However, today I noticed that the status has changed to “Retake Required.”
Could you please let me know why this happened?
Additionally, when I try to retake the exam, the “Start Exam” button appears disabled, and I am unable to proceed. I am currently stuck and unsure how to move forward.
I was not expecting this situation and would really appreciate your assistance. Kindly look into this issue and let me know how I can proceed to complete the certification process.

Please explain clearly that you are not waiting for the exam results, which is what they understood, but that you want to retake the exam, like give all the infos that you have given here or link to this forum topic.
For the root cause, I am not sure, I have never seen this. Maybe something happend during your exam that made the data collected weird, and the exam could not be approved based on the honesty parameters put in place.

Thank you for taking the time to work through this with us. There is a bug in the Exam Environment application which is causing it to display the wrong message on the exam.
An update should be available within the next 24 hours.
I have the same issue as it for ankita0909, from very begging to the end that she explained. I hope that i don’t have to sit almost two hours through the test and can know results and move on. Thanks
