I've accepted a Junior Front End Developer job in London!

  • call an API to retrieve some type of data (e.g. search results)
  • build a User Interface and render that data

Pretty good technical test as it’s quite similar to the day-to-day job of a Front End Developer.

Thank you for your answer. I need some opinion. I don t have any web development experience, the only experience I have is my demo projects. Should I keep in my CV my previous experience which is totally unrelated to web development with some short summary about each job? I m thinking if I take it out my CV would look empty at the working experience section. I applied to some jobs so far but no luck.

I would recommend having both your demo projects and previous work experience in your CV. Essentially, ~50% of being a developer is about soft skills: communication, working in a team etc. So your previous experience is relevant, even if it isn’t technical.
