Learn Advanced Bash by Building a Kitty Ipsum Translator - Build a Kitty Ipsum Translator

Tell us what’s happening:

Hi, I’m working through the “Learn Advanced Bash by Building a Kitty Ipsum Translator” course from the Relational Database curriculum, using Docker as instructed.

I followed all the steps:

  • Pulled the correct Docker image
  • Run it
  • Entered my user token when prompted
  • Completed several lessons and submitted each using Ctrl + Enter

However, my progress is not being saved to my freeCodeCamp account. When I check the curriculum page, nothing is marked as completed.

Additional info:

  • The .freeCodeCamp directory was created in my local folder
  • The container seems to have internet access (no errors during token input or submission)
  • I’m logged into the same freeCodeCamp account I got the token from

Is there anything else I need to configure to get my progress to sync correctly?

Thanks for your help!

try clicking continue and then reload the page in fCC that has your progress and see if that works.

Thank you for your reply , unfortunately it didn’t solve the problem

i’ve heard some people say that it takes a bit of time (not sure how long). So I wouldn’t worry too much yet.

here’s some instructions that may help you

(make sure you reload the page on fcc so it can pick up that you completed the coderoad part)

Thank you. Honestly, I’ve tried all of these methods, but as you said, maybe I just need to wait a little bit. Anyway, if anything changes, I’ll let you know.

it’s been too long if it hasn’t updated.

You sure you tried clicking Continue, then, opening up fCC and reloading the page?
(and you’re sure that you have the correct user token for this course in place?)

Hi, the project was marked complete today! Thanks again!
