Learn Basic CSS by Building a Cafe Menu - Step 22

Tell us what’s happening:

May I know what I did wrong here? I thought I was supposed to give comments in the line that contains the background-color property and value. But when I did that, I still got it wrong. I need help because I am stuck on this step for quite awhile now trying to figure it out.

Step 22

Comments in CSS look like this:

Example Code

/* comment here */

In your style sheet, comment out the line containing the background-color property and value, so you can see the effect of only styling the #menu element. This will make the background white again.

Your code so far

<!-- file: index.html -->
<!DOCTYPE html>
<html lang="en">
  <head>
    <meta charset="utf-8" />
    <meta name="viewport" content="width=device-width, initial-scale=1.0" />
    <title>Cafe Menu</title>
    <link href="styles.css" rel="stylesheet"/>
  </head>
  <body>
    <div id="menu">
      <main>
        <h1>CAMPER CAFE</h1>
        <p>Est. 2020</p>
        <section>
          <h2>Coffee</h2>
        </section>
      </main>
    </div>
  </body>
</html>
/* file: styles.css */
body {

  /* background-color: burlywood; */

}

h1, h2, p {
  text-align: center;
}

#menu {
  width: 300px;
}

Please remember to talk to us about how the instructions are confusing. Thanks

I have edited the post. Thanks

This exact line works for me. I would reset the code and make sure you only add /* and */ and make no other changes anywhere.

That is what I did. But it is still wrong . It says that:

Your body should have a white background.

You reset all of the code via the reset button?

Yes. I tried everything and even skipped that step and went to copy the real coding of that part from another step but it is still wrong.
