Learn Basic CSS by Building a Cafe Menu - Step 22

Tell us what’s happening:

Hey guys,
Currently doing the step 22 of Cafe Menu. The exercise is to comment out the line commanding the background-color property.
I add the /* */, the bg color disappear, but I’m still stuck.
I don’t know what to do, and I’m looking for some help on this one
Thanks

you made a change to the line, reset the step and add again the start and end of a comment without doing other changes

Thanks for your answer, but I’ve already tried that, and tried again, even wen’t back to the previous step, but it doesn’t change a thing

things you changed here: you removed the semicolon and the spabe after the colon.

What is your code now?

Hi, Thanks again for your answer.
Here is my line, untouched after “Reset” : background-color: burlywood;
And here it is after I had the comment format : /* background-color: burlywood;*/
It still doesn’t work

Hello and welcome to the forum community @LoulouBar !

If it is still not working after following the good guidance from 1m59138, perhaps try submitting it from a different browser? Sometimes, extensions, dark mode, or even cache are the issue.

Wishing you good progress on your coding journey. :slightly_smiling_face:

if that is the only change you made it should pass

Your solution works from my end. Please try one of the following steps to move forward.

Click on the “Restart Step” button and force a refresh of your page with CTRL + F5 then try to paste the code in again.

or - Try the step in incognito or private mode.

or - Disable any/all extensions that interface with the freeCodeCamp website (such as Dark Mode, Ad Blockers, or Spellcheckers), and set your browser zoom level to 100%. Both of these factors can cause tests to fail erroneously.

or - Ensure your browser is up-to-date or try a different browser.

I hope one of these will work for you.
