Learn Classes and Objects by Building a Sudoku Solver - Step 72

Describe your issue in detail here.
To me this is correct but it is telling me the code does not pass and " You should not have a method solve_sudoku within the Board class." Also, I can’t print all of the code that I have because they did not show it in this step

Your code so far

def solve_sudoku(board):
pass

Hi, welcome to the forum!

If you scroll up all of your code should be visible.

You are missing a bit of punctuation at the end of this def statement.

Thank you for welcoming me.

I scrolled up and down and my code still wasn’t visible.

I put in

def solve_sudoku(board):
    pass

But this code still came up with the same error.

I’ve edited your code for readability. When you enter a code block into a forum post, please precede it with a separate line of three backticks and follow it with a separate line of three backticks to make it easier to read.

You can also use the “preformatted text” tool in the editor (</>) to add backticks around text.

See this post to find the backtick on your keyboard.
Note: Backticks (`) are not single quotes (').

This works for me. You may have accidentally deleted the rest of the code, try resetting the step and typing that again

Thank you that worked.

Okay, thank you. I will do that next time.
